Review SB 220 HEATHKIT 2KW LINEAR AMPLIFIER .

I have not plugged it in since we got back from texas. Due to health issues i do not want to handle it but one last time. Last. This is an as is sale.

The sb-220 amps are real cloud burners. Normal 0 this is my second sb-220 that has some scuff marks from son helping me load and unload it and other radio gear rubbed it in transit. But they need retuned when changing bands or even moving very far on the same band. It has been a couple months since i had to ship the first hb-220.

I can take it apart once to pull the tubes and ship in two boxes. I should have several smaller tube amps listed soon. My shack is not wired for 220v. It is wired for 220v and is cleaner than most i’ve seen on ebay.

I have collected amps for a few years and decided to let other folks get some use from them. We brought it back from texas riding on foam rubber wrapped in a blanket late july this year. This was the better of the two, maybe because the other one was wired 110v? shipping is $90 to the lower 48 only…..
